Choose good passwords
Passwords are the cornerstone of all cybersecurity. It doesn’t matter if we do everything else correctly but choose bad passwords. It is very common to see users choose passwords based on the season and year – Summer 2025! – because this meets of the complexity requirements for most companies. But this is a very bad password. Attackers know that users choose these sorts of passwords to they include them in their attack lists.
Here is a tip to help you choose good passwords that you can remember:
- choose 3-4 random words – tree stand plate steak
- capitalize a few of the words
- add a number into the mix
- add punctuation
TreestandPlate6steaks!
