Is YOUR Practice’s Data Already on the Dark Web?

The Dark Web is an area of the Internet that isn’t accessible to most users. It takes a special tool known as Tor to access. It is relatively anonymous and secure. Because of this, many criminal elements have set up hidden sites to allow them to share tactics and plunder from the websites they have hacked.

In addition, entire markets not unlike eBay have been created to sell anything from illegal narcotics to stolen credit card numbers. When hackers break into companies and steal their data, this often where the data ends up. Hackers will sell or trade their stolen data on these Dark Web markets.

Here is an example of medical records from a practice in Georgia for sale on the Dark Web:

Sign up and get your FREE Dark Web report. The report will let you know if any email address in your practice has ever been found in any reported breaches. In addition, if a password was compromised, the report will show that. This will allow you to know which of your passwords may have been compromised.

There is no charge for this and you are under no obligation.
